- Q. Do I need specific qualifications to join the franchise?
- A.For individual contracts, we will interview you based on your career history, health status, and financial capacity.For corporate contracts, we will interview you based on information such as financial statements, the representative's profile, and a copy of the company registration.In either case, we value candidates who agree with our company's management philosophy and Manmaru's business policies and who can become partners with whom we can build long-lasting, positive relationships.
- Q. I don’t have prior food & beverage experience. Is that acceptable?
- A.Some of our existing franchise owners have no experience in restaurant management.
A major benefit of joining a franchise is that headquarters provides know-how and guidance when opening a restaurant, giving even inexperienced owners a high chance of success.
Our Manmaru format in particular keeps initial investment and fixed costs as low as possible, and has the overwhelming ability to attract customers even without advertising.
We keep the break-even point low compared to model monthly sales, and no restaurant has closed to date except for structural reasons such as the reconstruction of the building it is located in stores outside Japan, proving that this model is well suited to franchising.
- Q. What are your key strengths and weaknesses?
- A.Our strengths are low initial investment and fixed costs, comprehensive management support, and a strong ability to attract customers due to the establishment of good business concept.
Furthermore, the repeat rate of our customers is overwhelmingly high compared to our competitors, and the ability to enjoy connections with regular customers and the community is what makes Manmaru interesting and a strong point.
One weakness is that, unlike major chains, we do not have a manual or automated system to establish our business model, so we need to be flexible in our responses.
Because this isn't a business model package designed to ensure profits, we recommend it to owners who enjoy daily change and growth.
- Q. Do you provide operational support for franchisees?
- A.Yes. A dedicated supervisor provides ongoing support and advice for sales and operations.
However, as each franchise is an independent business, accounting and tax filings must be managed by the franchise owner. Headquarters focuses on strategic and operational guidance to maximize your success.
